No other Finance Committee member shall dictate nor interfere in the running of the club by the Club Manager during hours of operation. If resolutions of matters that are the responsibility of the Finance Committee Chairman are not achieved in a timely manner, the Club Manager may report such matters to any Finance Committee member at the next scheduled meeting.

Current

Proposed Change

E. Employees:

Leatherneck Club employees shall report directly to the Club Manager. All matters which employees wish to discuss concerning Club policy shall be addressed to the Club Manager. In the event the employee feels the matter has not been addressed, the employee may request a meeting with the Finance Committee Chairman. Employees shall not participate in discussions of Club politics or Detachment politics with any member while an employee of the Leatherneck Club. Violation of this policy is grounds for dismissal.

Employees shall comply with all posted Employee duties and verbal instructions from the Club Manager.

Employees will take their direction from the Club Manager or Finance Committee Chairman only, no other member shall have the authority to dictate, demand or otherwise modify the activities or duties of an employee.

The Leatherneck Club may not employ any active Finance Committee member or member of the Board of Officers at any time during his or her term of service. This is considered a conflict of interest, and would bridge the separation of the Leatherneck Club and Greater Nevada Detachment 186 Marine Corps League. It would inhibit the fair and proper running of the Leatherneck Club.
